My Wii Fit

Today is a new day...as is every day, lol! I'm torn between talking about the past 5 months or just starting fresh from here and moving on.

I got a Wii Fit for Christmas. I hear it's a lot of fun and a great workout. Mine sits sadly, unused, in it's box. For the past few weeks I've been threatening to open it up and try it. Today I promise myself (and you all) that not only will I try it, but I will blog about it as well!

I bought my girlfriend a wii fit for xmas and she is still using it to this day.
She doesn't like using it when I'm in the room though, because you really do wiggle your bum using it.
Thinking about it I've only got her word that shes still using it, she has lost 20 pounds so far this year though so she must be doing something to lose weight.

yay you're back!!

First of all, I wouldn't consider you fat at all, but I know what you mean when you don't feel good about yourself and let your physical and mental health go on the back burner.

Second of all, use us! we're here for support and encouragement. Spring is almost here, you, me, and Jen should go for walks for spend some time together doing good things for ourselves.

Think of the example you'll be setting for your girls. I'm sure you want them to lead the healthiest, happiest life possible and they will pick up on your habits. It's a great time of year to get back on the wagon!

I just wanted to through my two cents in here. I got the Wii fit all excited when it first came out last fall. My husband got on and gave it a go and I excitedly got on and tried it. And it wouldn't let me get past the weigh in. We tried it again and again. Surprise! There is a weight limit of 330lbs. I was a whopping 350lbs last fall when I tried it. I was devastated. In October after a health scare I started a new diet.
I tried it again about two weeks ago at my new weight of 314. I LOVE IT! It is the most fun I have ever done. If a big ol' uncoordinated girl like me can jiggle around and have a blast doing it anyone can.
It is fun, the yoga can present challenges for the very big.I do the best I can and laugh at the puzzled looks on my dogs faces while I am trying. GO FOR IT, at least for the laughs.

Thanks everyone. I tried my Wii Fit today as promised and will blog about it in the morning...it was a very good experience though!

Kristin, I'd love to go walking with you and Jen! My girls are my main motivator. My oldest is very active by nature and so I often feel guilty for not providing her with an appropriate outlet for it. My youngest loves to run and play, yet I feel like because I'm so inactive, she will easily pick of on that bad habit. The last thing I want is for her to be going through this in 30 years!

Thanks for the support though everyone...I guess I really do need it!
